Do you mean when you open your web browser, Google will display? If you're using Internet Explorer, just go to the IE menu, Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, and type the URL in the field, click OK.

i am unable to access my emails that are windows live/MSN. Contacted internet supplier and assured me its not the modem and must be sumthing with th comp is there a setting or sumthing i have accidently touched.

I think that is not your computer.. it all about your ISP.. try VPN, hmm maybe ultraVPN it free and fast. If this problem come from your ISP so this can solve it.

i have tried everything. i have a tiger mac platform and have a jabber account facility in ichat. i have followed the instructions one to one given by google but i still cant connect to google talk. always get the message that the cannot connect to jabber.
